So I have a confession.

On Twitter, I said the now famous adorable owl found hiding in my branches was a freeloader.

That’s not true.

I was doing Ollie a favor.

Oh, you know him as Rockefeller the Owl, the name given to him because people of the internet think they can do whatever they want with their keyboard.

But to those of us back home in upstate New York, he’s Ollie. The adorable baby owl we all considered our own.

Over the last 24 hours, Twitter has been ablaze with people deciding to have a go at me for no reason.

Getting their aggressions out about a year gone bad on little ‘ol me… a tree from upstate New York hired to be the famous Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.
